Left dealer with two 09's

I went to the dealership today to check out the new fit and left with one for me and one for the wife!! Both cars are identical, SSM auto sport models.
I would have liked to get different colors but they only had the two silver ones. I had to pay msrp for both but they gave me alot more than I expected for my trades so I feel pretty good about the deal.

I will post pics when it quits raining, both cars are dirty already!! So far I like the 09 over the 08. It seems a little more refined. I liked the 08 as well, its gonna be a personal choice for everyone.
I think having twins will be confusing but fun!!

Very nice. You're lucky.

I wonder what the neighbors will say.

Are these with the Navi?

you'll have to paint the wheels on one of them to tell them apart.

How do you like the Mazda 5? I test drove 13 cars, #14 was the Fit and now I'm waiting for my Fit to arrive in December. The Mazda 5 was one I considered but never tested out.

No Navi, it would have been nice but a little pricey!

The Mazda5 is not bad. Not quite as sporty to drive as the fit but still pretty fun and not bad looking in my opinion. I used to work for Mazda and had a couple as demos and it is still on my list since I can get a great deal on a loaded up GT but I am leaning toward the new Fit. Still need to actually drive one though.

Congrats on the new additions to your family. While at first blush it may seem odd to have two identical cars (i.e., occassional confusion), I think it's great. Have fun!

Congrats! Sounds like you're going to have to do some small mods to tell them apart. Perhaps an accessory Sport Grille on one of them?

Get vanity plates that say "fit1" and "fit2".

The lady who bought my Fit ended up trading it back in a month later for a Mazda5. According to the sales guy she said the Fit was just too small for her. I think the Mazda looks a lot like a Fit, but grown up - we have a micro-minivan, and that is a mini-minivan. I love the Fit but I guess if I thought I had to have more room, the Mazda5 would be on the list of possibilities.

What kind of gas mileage did you get on the Mazda5? I'm definitely getting the Fit, but my wife drives a Toyota Sequoia and that is a gas hog.
