Anybody have one with Navi yet?

Just wondering if any members have purchased a GE8 with the Navi/VSA package yet?

Im looking for a Video run through of the Honda OEM sat Nav that the GE8 has.
Just a basic run through of all the features, so members can get a feel of how it all works, looks, ect. Also it will give us a feel for speeds and things like that.
Thank you.

My '09 SSM VSA/NAV Fit was expected today, and I drove through the dealer's back lot looking. There it was, apparently the third one off the truck of four, the only one with nav. Will get processed today, and I'll take delivery tommorrow. This is in Baltimore, MD. The build date of the vehicle was August 4. So, it arrived in a tad longer than one month.

We bought a loaded Mazda CX-9 in April, and I'm actually more excited about this purchase than the Mazda, which is an excellent vehicle in its own right.

Thank you.
You can download the 09 Fit w/ Nav manual here, that way you can read up all about how to use it. That's what I'm doing now on the regular non-Nav Fit, I like the USB and iPod features the Sport has.

Buetooth in 09 Fit with navi.

Does anyone know how to activate bluetooth in the navi unit? It seems that they are using the same basic unit in all hondas. Just picked up mine today. White withnavigation. Thank you Jim Tubbs.

With the NAV system in my 06 Civic, you can get to a diagnostic menu by holding down Map, Menu, and Cancel all together for a few seconds. You can look for a model number in there and compare it with units that have bluetooth. If it really is the same hardware, you might be able to drop in a DVD from a different car that has bluetooth enabled. I have no idea how that might affect the unit's communication with the car's other systems, and there's a good chance that this wouldn't work at all. But, it's probably the only shot you have besides replacing the NAV unit.

Thank you for the idea. I just bought the Fit and would hate to replace the navi unit. I think that there is a goo9d possiblity that it is already built in and just needs to be switched on. How do you find tghe modle units which have the Bluetooth. Thank you. Jim Tubbs

From my understanding, bluetooth functionality has been stripped from Fit. How about a good headset?

Scosche is making the bluefusion which looks like it will enable our navs to use bluetooth. Assuming I cant find another way to activate it (doubt it, need a bluetooth receiver), then I will probably purchase this when it comes out.

Scosche Industries : Car Audio Accessories, iPod Accessories, Bluetooth Wireless Accessories, EFX Hyperformance, Accumat Sound Damping, Soundkase audio backpacks, CD and DVD storage systems
