Got mine today! : )

Just picked up my black 2009 sport today! I've been wanting a Fit since I saw the first generation at the car show before those were even available in the states. I almost bought one last year but when I heard the rumors of a redesign I decided to wait. I'm so excited that the day has finally come!

I traded in my little tank of a '97 Corolla, which was bittersweet since she's been through so much with me but I'm more than happy with the upgrade! I haven't had a chance to take any pictures but I'll try to get on that since I know how much all of you enjoy pics.

I got automatic, no nav and got out the door for $17,580, exactly what the sticker says for MSRP plus destination and handling. Got it at Motorcars Honda in Cleveland Heights, OH (Burt Weiss is a truly wonderful, honest, caring salesman!).

So far I'm loving it. The huge windshield, side windows, plus the little ones up front make it feel really airy and roomy.

I could go on and on about how much I love my new car but you guys all know what the features are and all I'd be doing is listing them and saying I love them.

This is my first new car and only my second car ever (I'm 27) so today was a big day. My husband drives a 2004 Mazda 3 5-door so we're a hatchback family now. : )

I'll try to get on those pics soon and to anyone on the fence about this car, I say go for it!! I was a little iffy about the redesign but now that I've seen it and driven it I'm completely sold!

Wow, that's a STEAL! OTD for $17.5? That's like not having to pay tax.

I'd like to clarify on the price I mentioned. That was the flat cost plus an additional $1,304.33 for a total of $19,214.33. Sorry for any confusion. I'm just glad they didn't try to hit me with the "market adjustment" additions that I've been reading about on here lately.

Enjoy Your New Car!

Best part is after you get your first scratch, after that you tend to relax ALOT more!

Pictures

These are just a few that my father-in-law took right after we got it. I'm still planning to take some better ones later.

Thanks! Yeah I'm hoping to tint but am a little worried it will look strange since the windshield is so big. Any thoughts?

Looks great in black! Nothing like a clean & waxed black car. Enjoy!

I don't think it will look strange - most cars have some kind of tint on them, even if it's light. It will help the car to stay cooler in hot weather and it just looks good...here...mine just got done on Friday. You can't do the front windshield at all, so I got 35% on the front sides and 20% in the back. It's dark but not very dark. Tint looks great on black Fits!

Looking good Juliane! I've been planning to tint and it's true yours does look pretty sleek. I'll probably go for it but I'm just feeling a little nervous about doing anything to her. I'm in the OCD new car mode where I don't even want anyone to breathe on it, let alone do work on it.

Yeah, it took me 2 weeks to be ready for anyone else to touch mine! Take your time and find a good tint shop that won't try to sell you a new stereo or anything else. Enjoy your new ride!
