very true. the fit has a MUCH manlier horn than the civic too.

nothing like my old rabbit though. that thing sounded like an 18 wheeler. my dads pilot's horn is pretty beefy though.

eldaino, did you read the title of this post? And you must've not read my post completely, as I stated TWICE that my list is not a list of complaints.

Please read carefully before responding.

Yeah, I think eldaino misunderstands the spirit of the comments. One can certainly enjoy something while thinking of ways in which it might be even better.

In other news, I like the Fit's horn. I think it's adorable. And I like the fact that if I'm stuck behind someone who hasn't looked up to notice that the stoplight has turned green, when I tap the horn the sound evokes "excuse me, but the light is green!" rather than "MOOOOVE it already!"

We have a CR-V, and it has a horn that is less endearing.

silly little windows

I don't even know what to call the silly little windows under the side mirrors. I thought they were stupid on my 08 and now that they seem to have quadrupled in size I like them much less. It sucks that I've got no name with which to assault this feature that I hate.

How about, "Feddup windows"?? Lol. jk.

I think they're referred to as "quarter windows">

I never thought of it but I'd rather not name a feature I think is stupid after myself but why not? It's only my user name.

So quarter windows is the correct name? Cool! I learned something tonight! THANKS!

This annoyed me on my drive home yesterday...
The sun visor is completely ineffective at blocking out the sun on the side. It doesn't pull out, and when you swing it over to the side window it is angled up high and only covers a couple inches of the top of the window. It can't be pulled down further...it's just not a very good design. Having the sun on my face is a big pet peeve of mine...I will need to figure out a way to fix this.

It's just a nitpicky thing...no big complaints as of yet.

Floormats are standard on most domestic cars, but probably no Hondas or Toyotas.

another minor iPod gripe: podcasts

At least on the cars without Navi, playing a podcast is somewhat cumbersome. It appears that it won't display the list of podcasts to allow you to navigate through them. You can play a podcast by disconnecting the iPod, select the podcast while disconnected, then re-connect and you can play it. Do-able, but unnecessarily inconvenient.

What, you can't hold a button for 5 seconds?

Your dealer is incorrect. It's not even satellite radio ready.

Incorrect. Besides my 91 Integra all my Hondas/Acuras came with carpet mats. Honda is simply trying to save money by not including them on the Fit's price.

When there's the possibility to only have to push it for 200 milliseconds? That's 4 seconds and 800 milliseconds of my life unnecessarily wasted!

All of the cars I've bought didn't come with floor mats. I guess I've not been buying hondas.

As with most hondas hell any car that's manufactuer is not american the usdm version's always either, A dont look exactly like the jdm version which always looks better. B doesnt have the same performance or power as the over sea's model. C doesnt get offered in a manual. My only complaint is the looks.

OUR'S 09

gauge cluster

I like the gauge cluster on my wife's 08 better than my 09 sport. The new gauge cluster looks just a little tacky. Other than that I'm very happy.
