Hoping someone can post pics of installed door sill protector. The pic on Honda's sight looks a little bulkly compared to the door sill trim for the '07/'08 (it appears they're not interchaneable). All in all, I think it's a good way to protect from scuff marks on the painted sill, while adding a touch of sophistication.

I just ordered mine from Bernardiparts - - I've bought from them before, usually a little better price compared to the others (although I've bought from all three now for my '09 Sport - lol)

I agree. I did order those 2009 side sills until I realized that they are moulded black plastic with the Fit logo on top. I'd much prefer the 2007-2008 side sills which are one piece of chrome material. So these for sure don't fit on the 2009 Fits?

I too prefer the look of the '07/'08 sills, as I'm not a big fan of the injection moulded plastic. I contacted College Hills this afternoon to garner their opinion, but, unfortunately, they haven't had a Fit in for more than 10 minutes before it heads out the door -- they hope to have one in the next several weeks to configure with some accessories. I looked at pictures of the '08 door sill versus the '09 sill, and it appears that the profile is slightly different, which may prevent utilization of the old sills on the '09. Let me know if you discover anything to the contrary.

I like the looks of some of the sills offered for the '07 & '08, but I never got around to buying any

Thanks for the complements. I wanted these for looks and when young ones get out of the back it gives them something that is not slippery to step on when the exit the car. Especially if it is wet out the steel can be very slippery.

Looks great! Thanks for pictures! I just ordered mine from Bernardi. I also got the Applique. In hind sight I should have ordered from College Hills. It is a tad more expensive but I would have gotten it a day sooner (OH is 2 day UPS point for me and MA is 3 day). I would have preferred getting it day sooner more than the $4 savings...
