How can it always be your favorite color when you said:
My first choice is the taffeta white

And with the username NJTidewater it seems you might get tidewater blue???

I think he means that the Taffeta white is a more practical color, but he likes the BBP for other reasons. I think the SSM is the most practical color - you can let it get filthy and dirt wouldn't show - chips wouldn't show up as much - etc. But I'd never buy it because I think the Fit looks great in unconventional colors like BBP and OR.

So your siggie says you're going to have a BBP soon...don't get cold feet - get the color you love the best and every time you see your car, your heart will beat faster and you will smile...

If BBP is that color, order it and don't look back!

Two Of The Worst Colors To Choose On Any Car Unless:

You don't mind washing your car daily are Black and white unless you don't mind driving 100 yards, and seeing dirt. This is particularly true in areas where you have snow, mud, etc. I owned an Audi S4 black and I will NEVER own another black car again. White is the second worst, shows all the dirt. I personally like white only on certain cars like a 911 for example but they still must be constantly washed. Silver is the best for hiding dirt but I got the Orange myself. The car is so funky looking it deserves a funky color and to my surprise I have had at least a dozen compliments on the COLOR of the car in about 3 weeks (I thought most people would dislike the Orange) . It shows dirt but not very badly. Bottom line is if you don't mind washing your car all the time then you can choose any color. If you want to be more practical than White and black are out the window as well as the blackberry since it is so dark.

As an unemployed person, you should be considering how hard it will be to get out from under the car if you should become unemployed again. White, since you like it anyway, will be a lot easier to sell than Purple or Orange. Most people will settle for White if they otherwise like the car even if its not their first choice, Purple and Orange not so much. You have to love those colors or forget it.

I really don't think there's a bad color for the Fit, though they're not all for me. As most everyone here previously mentioned, get what you want, not what you think someone else would like. Color is such a personal choice, otherwise we'd all be driving black, just like the Model T. That said, if you're concerned that you might have to sell the car, then definitely a primary color will be your best bet (if that's a concern I might not be buying a new car in the first place). Short of that scenario, get your favorite color and enjoy!

I think you should get the Blue Sensation since it clearly is the best color

Cool

The blue sensation is almost the same tint of blue as my arrival blue metalic cobalt. That blue is a pain to keep clean (my cobalt) but I keep up on the cleaning almost every day. If I do get the white its no problem...I can keep it clean!

(Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detailer is my cars best friend!!!!)
