Foglight adjustments?

My foglights haven't been aimed straight since day one, and it appears there is no left/right adjustment on these housings, just up/down with a spring loaded screw.

My dealer's solution is to shim the housings with washers, but that leaves parts of the housing unseated, and only makes for crude adjustments.

In working on the foglights myself, I was surprised to find the up/down adjust because the dealer tech told me only the accessory foglights for the base fit have this adjustment. Both trims have the adjustment, on the base you can insert the screw through holes in the shroud, on the sport you have to remove the entire housing from the bumper to access the adjustment screws.

Any thoughts on how to effect side-to-side adjustments without shimming?

How far off are your fog lights? My left one needed to be lowered quite a bit after the yellow bulbs, (above the headlights on my garage) but as far as left and right, they were dead center.

how far off is it?

fog lights are supposed to be spread left/right, not straight.
