stock 09 sport wheels

Need some help here people! Basically, I have 3 options:

1. paint my stock wheels and save $$$ (what color? gold?)

2. sell my stock sport wheels because people have been asking (how much are they worth?)

3. just ignore everything and keep them as is!

Any input would be appreciated!!! Thanks!

o btw, if you didn't know, my car is TW!!!

Well, there was a guy over on the classifieds section offering his 2009 Sport wheels with tires for $600, and he was getting berated for asking such an "unreasonable" price.

Frankly, I think $600 for a set of wheels/tires, barely used, off a car that is barely on the market a few weeks, is pretty damn good. If I were a Base Fit owner, or maybe a GD owner looking for some added OEM style, I'd take a leap at that price. Last couple times I checked eBay, there were no 2009 Sport wheels selling, and Lakeshore Wheel and Tire doesn't have them either (huge online seller of OEM wheels.) Technically, at least for the moment, these wheels should be a hot seller. On the other hand...

...It's all based on what the market will bear. And while I don't mean to offend anyone, this is an inexpensive car that is being purchased by a large number of people with less disposable income, so this may explain the blowback this guy got. In other words, if most Fit owners were dropping $500/wheel on BBS rims, paying $600 for some nice new stockers would seem fantastic. But with all the cheap alternatives, maybe that's a bit rich.

I'm stickin' snow tires on mine, which I've done with numerous cars over the years.

i would keep them and get another set of cheep wheels like rota

i dont like painting stock wheels. my gf painted her stock rsx wheels bronze. a while after, she bent one and cracked another, so replacing the damaged wheels meant i would have to buy oem wheels, then paint them to (hopefully) match the others. in the end, i just found someone selling oem wheels that he powdercoated gunmetal, and i moved the bronze wheels to one side and the gunmetal ones to the other

if she had bent a cheap rota wheel, it would have been fairly easy to get an identical replacement...with painted wheels its slightly harder to get a matching replacement
