scion Xb or Honda Fit?
scion Xb or Honda Fit?
new guy here. im looking into buying a fit but id like your comparison based on cars you had before or still own. im having a hard time deciding between a scion Xb and the Fit. i drove a scion Xb for a week and thought it was a fun car to drive but the mpg wasnt all that great (22 combined). but it is easy to mod and have lots of room and decent power. i havent driven a Fit yet but id like your opinions. thx.
I had this same problem and ended ordering a Fit for the MPG and the fact that no matter what you will still have to drop seats if you want to fit a bike in either(Im a mt biker)...The XB is nice though, but like you said the MPG is average. If you work it out the cost of ownership is less all around.
We compared the two, and the Fit was the better choice for us. The Fit is more fun to drive (IMO), gets better gas mileage, and the Fit's automatic has an extra gear and paddle shifters. Another thing, I honestly could not see myself driving an xB for the next five or six years and being happy about my choice.

test drive a FitSport (especially a 5MT) and you'll understand why Fit's are
better and made more for the car enthusiast...
xB's are more for people that just want basic transportation.

Fit.
Scions (and all Toyotas for that matter) aren't driver-oriented. They're not really fun to drive because they're disconnected from the driver/road.
They are a good value, however and you have lots of options available to customize to your order.

yeah fit FTW!!
haha but uh i would really just try test driving the fit. see how you like it. Mileage the fit is giong to be better for sure. Cargo space, while the fit has a lot i'm pretty sure the xB has more. dont quote me on that though

OK so for the record i'd still trade my GD3 for a first gen xB in a heart beat. Just can't find one with a manual tranny. Now the second gen xB bleh. I testdrove one and it was a little too clunky. And too big. The 2nd gen fits i feel are hideous. I'd not have one if it was given to me. I'd sell it and buy something else. Like a ruckus. LMAO
I appriciate the responses. but for what it is both the scion Xb and the Fit have very polorizing exteriors, it seems like most people either love it hate it. i kinda like the gen2 Xb over the 1st but thats just me
I just got rid of my BMW e92 335 (very very fun to drive but really impractical) so im just looking for a practical, fun-to-drive daily.
heres my biggest worry: does the Fit have enough Hp? i mean if you have a full car and going uphill will i get passed by minivans? anyone have any good/bad experiences with the amount of hp the fit has. im not looking for a 300hp twin-turbo (or chipped 400hp
) but i dont want to have to worry about will the Fit make it...
