anyone else have this gap? if not, time to visit the stealer.

 

I have it too and don't think it's a defect, so stay away from the 'stealer' It seems intentional, like a channel to drain off water.

 

All 09 Fits have them.

 

I noticed this too and took it back to the dealer (there was a different quality issue too). They could not explain it, they showed me another 09 and we saw the same thing. I have been looking at the pictures in the different forums here and they all seem to have it. I don't believe it is a designed feature - if it was some sort of rain channel it would be a groove of some type, not just a gap.

Love the car though.

 

The JDM GE`s also have this... it part of the design...

 

LOL..this freaked me out too the first time I noticed it.
I was ready to go back to the dealership that time but good thing there are 2 other 2009 on the parking lot of the place I used to work for.
