Just got done talking to TEIN
I'm in Socal and TEIN USA is in downey,CA not too far. I called them up and chit chatted for a lil bit. Also here is the part of the email.
Looks promising. I'm a big fan of TEIN springs but that's neither here nor there. Just can't wait for the prototype's to come in (*holds breath*)
Unfortunately we have not tested the new Honda Fit for fitment and compliance with our products. Although we are planning on developing models for the application, it may take some time before we receive prototype models from TEIN Japan. Your contact information have been saved in our system for R&D test vehicles and we will contact you when we are ready to test the application. TEIN Japan had some springs/coilovers available about 6 months ago but they had some Quality control issues with the springs that they had for the current fit that were not to spec.... and I have yet to see anthing in Japan to this date from them for the GE Fit....

i supposed USDM & JDM GE8 should be sharing the same platform? based on TEIN jp website, the do have coilovers for GE8.
here in SG, a few GE6 owners had also installed the coilovers meant for GE8, so far not much issues encountered. i've also checked out the local authorised distributor for TEIN in SG, and they quoted me SGD1.8k for a set, with installation.
do check out HONDA ƒtƒBƒbƒg GE8 or or BASIC COMPACT
