i'm sure my insurance will attempt to get something from her. but i doubt they'll get much. if you can't afford minimal liability insurance on your car, i'm not sure you can afford to write state farm a check for 16730.00 Ha!

Does she even own the car? I thought you couldn't get any car registered unless you show proof of insurance first (meaning liability). If not then maybe the owner of the car can be held responsible too for loaning out the car to her.

i bet since she didnt have insurance or license she wont have the car registered either. i hate people that are not responsible.

that sucks dude! what a bummer. hopefully they total it & you just get a new one. looks like it held up well though.

Here's the deal..here in Missouri you have to show insurance to get your car licensed. Well there are shady places that sell insurance monthly so you can get your insurance card to show to the DMV to satisfy that criteria. As soon as that month of insurance is up, you don't renew..You got your plates, registration, but, now, no insurance. These people don't care. She was loaded in the back of an ambulance. The police officer went into the ambulance after her and wrote her two tickets while she was on the stretcher.
