Tanabe is going out with springs right now and for parts you have to get them from Japan for now since nothing in the US really yet till probably next year.

PRM is working now on their "Jet Stream" intake for the '09s. The air intake on the '09 is completely different from the 1st. Gen Fits. Now there is no fender well opening for cold air- . The older Fits are a lot friendlier for all kinds of after-market intakes than the new ones. Without relocating the battery, you can forget chambers. The GE does have an odd "semi-ram air" duct made of soft plastic fastened to the underside of the hood. But all it does is carry air from the leading edge of the hood into the rear driver side quadrant of the engine bay. The stock air inlet is a big rubber doughnut, like a coupling on a shop vac, that just sits directly under the brake master cylinder, against the firewall.

Gerry has my advance order for the first '09 PRM intake. I am sure that the PRM will make better use of the stock ram air tunnel.

It will be a wait for '09 Fit exhausts too. The '09 is not a straight through design- the inlet and outlet tubes are both in the front wall of the muffler. Outlet makes a 180 degree turn and wraps around the right side of the muffler before heading under the rear bumper.

Progress Technology is working on an add-on rear sway bar to add stiffness to the stock rear bar. Member saveacivic's '09 Fit is the test bed for the new bar, and he may have some info. for us around 11/15.
