More Compliments For A "Good Guys" Vendor
OK, in order to get my new '09 Fit Sport BBP properly dressed, I went to College Hills Honda to get some stuff. Door Sill Trim, Window Visors, Wheel Locks, and Center Storage Arm Rest. Everything was in stock, at discounted prices, and shipped immediately with UPS Tracking numbers. That is exactly why I shop there.
But another reason came into play. While installing the window visors, I dropped two of the damned tiny plastic clips onto my asphalt driveway, and they vanished without a trace. Honda doesn't give you any extras, and without them, you can't install all of the visors. Three visors on four windows won't fly.
I emailed College Hills and asked if it is even possible for them to sell me another installation parts kit. Paul Pacek in their Internet Sales Dept. replied:
"Yes, $20.00, just give us a call". I was prepared to have to buy an entire new set of visors (maybe from a cheaper eBay source) just to install the first set. $20.00 is a whole lot better than $70.00, so I called to order.
Another guy took the order, and I asked him how common it is for people to need more install parts for visors. He said they get such orders all the time. The only problem is, Honda makes their dealers wait for up to two years before supplying replacement parts kits for accessories.
The point of this story is this: College Hills has a section of their parts warehouse filled with dozens of visor sets, and dozens to hundreds other accessory parts boxes, that are all missing the installation hardware packs. Because they sold the parts kits to clumsy people like me, and have to wait for Honda to supply replacement kits.
College Hills deserves your business because of their prices, large inventory, and fast service. They deserve it even more if you screw up and lose something crucial. Because they will help you out of your problem with fantastic customer service.

When I screw up, I do it well. Good thing it doesn't happen often.

it's all fixed. I'm glad you can enjoy your visors like me.
