I recently installed the dome lights sold on the thread below:

Anyone notice that when the dome light is set to automatic-on position (middle setting), there is still a faint glow on the LEDS even when the doors are closed and while driving. They will turn off only when set to the "off" position. It's like there still a small amount of current running through the LED board when set to the automatic-on position causing the faint glow.

Is this normal for everyone else?

 

Yep, mine do it. I have the same set from that same person.

 

I noticed it. Didn't know the faintness goes away when set to total off position. Wonder if I should leave it off except for when I need it?

 

Nahh....I would just leave it auto.

 

I never noticed that it stays on, but i did notice that it kinda glows faintly for a while, which is probably cause of the dimming function. Anyone know how to remove that? so the light just goes on and goes off?
