Would the install be the same with Mugen visors? Thinking about ordering some soon.

On real Mugen visors it should be similar since those have clips. On "Mugen Style" visors no since they only stick on.

Here are some pics.

Looks sweet. I'll be tossing mine up this weekend. I'll be getting it tinted next weekend. Should look pretty sharp. Then a hood deflector and I'm done with the exterior! For now....

Nice job!

Do they help block the sun all that much?

Depends on how you set your seat. It helps me even though I'm short since I don't slouch back in my seat.

Thanks for all the pics and info. What is the general concensus on wind noise with the visors on? Louder/quieter?

My pics suck and are blurry because it was getting dark out. On Crystal Black Pearl, they look like part of the car, which I really like.

So what's the deal with those seals in the back? Doesn't seem like they really do anything... Has anyone installed the visors without installing those seals?

I'm assuming it has something to do with preventing moisture from getting down into the door. It's just weather stripping.

I wouldn't take a chance - just install them.

the clips that come with the visor. how the hell do they work. i don't mean the clips that go into the door trim, i mean the little bastard push pins. when i put my visors on, they were still loose. they don't snap, or do anything. they just pushed together. is that right? i'm assuming no. they are on the car, and they aren't going anywhere cuz of the tape, but shit, the pins are buggin me. help?!

Those clips should hold pretty firmly, but they don't necessarily hold the visors in place. My guess is that they just offer support for alignment and any wind pushing down on the visor. They shouldn't be loose though. Are they lined up with the treads on the inside of the visors? You can try moving the part that's tucked under the sill up and down until they are more snug.

The clips should click into place when they lock.

Does OEM door visors (while windows closed) produce any more wind noise at speeds above 55mph?
I'm thinking about getting them to have windows cracked opened and let the heat excape while the car is parked, but I don't want to have no extra wind noise while on the freeway.

Nope, not much difference with them on, you can hear them a lil with the windows down but for all the other benni-Fits they are well worth it.
