what does the RS model come with that the sport does not?

I assume you are comparing a JDM RS against a USDM Sport. In that case, there's quite a few differences.

Things that I remember top of my head...
Rear Disc Brakes
Automatic Climate Control

 

Climate gauge
RHD

 

alot cuz its jdm so it comes with all the goodies we dont get here lol

RS badge on US Fit = dumb. That's like a GT-R badge on a Ford Escort. I've seen it.

 

I assume marketing, there is probably a price point US consumers like in a car such as the fit, its economy is its strongest selling point, so buyers will turn away from it, I assume that is not true in the JDM. Thats why we didnt get the ultra cool glass roof...

 

Bad analogy, but I agree. Why did you put the RS badges on anyway?

I have the RS badge, and while I understand that some may take is as me having sportier pretensions than my car really has, but no, that's not the reason. Bottom line is it really adds an extra flair to the look in back. Makes it look more substantial, more expensive. More like a $17,000 car than a $16,000, lol. Actually, it looks more like over $20,000. It's not that I have an insecurity about the Fit's price tag either, I'm a designer, and by nature visual, so I appreciate looking at beautiful things. Even if I were on a deserted island, I would still have that badge on. Against the black body color the red badge pops. Also, I got it because in essence, it's the JDM "Sport".

 

I see nothing wrong with putting RS badge on the 09 Fit sport, but putting an RS badge on the 1st gen fit is just wrong...
