I don't know how they pick World Car of the Year...to me that doesn't make sense, 'cause you're really picking through apples and oranges (and grapefruits and berries....)
Come on, Nissan GT-R vs. BMW 7 Series vs. Honda Fit??? They're totally different cars and totally different price ranges haha. |
For its class it is top notch, You cant put it beisde a supercar but for its own, It is top!

Good can translate into many things, such as how revolutionary or ingenious a certain car's feature is to its class and/or to the industry. Ex. the Fit's Magic Seats. I think they're going to put all the car names up on a wall. Then they're going to throw a dart, and whichever one it lands on is *drumroll*.............. The Car of the Year!

Then consider how, as the package shrinks, the difficulty in building a truly good car increases. How do you even find the space to engineer everything you need into a car the size of the Fit? So it can pass crash tests, so it's comfortable, so it's drivable, and so you can still build and sell it for less than $20,000? A nice luxury sedan that costs three times as much is inherently less impressive because it poses fewer challenges to engineers. |
So many positive reviews for our GE's. You gotta love it. :D
