You mean US Fit doesn't come with reverse sensors as default?

There are 2 points and 4 points variants available (Honda Original Parts).

The Fit is so small. I would think that this is the one car that you WOULDN'T need parking sensors on. Just look back and your hatch windows is basically the end of your car.

To back or not to back

Okey-dokey, Here is where I should have clarified the Parking Sensor thing. I don't care about backing up to park. I am more concerned about running the nose aground. If they come in a set with separate circuit/readouts that is o.k. But I really only care about the front.

i wouldn't suggest mounting those beeping sensors in the front cuz that will get very annoying very quickly during rush hour bumper to bumper traffic. If you're really worried about hitting something you can always install a camera in the front. somewhere in the grill / or even in the circle tow hook place or just beneath the front bumper could be a good spot.

Turn it off during rush hour. But then again I don't have a rush hour. Unless you count haulin' ass (overslept) to the woods to be up on stand before the sun gets a peek. And I don't drive the fit to the woods. It's really my sweetie's car. By the way "to all the Sweeties... "HAPPY VALENTINES DAY"

The parking sensors are greatest invention since sliced bread. They don't beep like crazy during rush hour and even if they did you can always turn them off. On my Lexus GS, the have save me from many bumper dents. I'm still getting used to parking the fit. I got so dependent on the rear camera for the last 5 years, driving a Prius and a GS that turning my neck to see the back and using the rearview mirror is difficult. I still have a hard time guaging the rear distance, I think I have a foot or two of space and come out of the car and see that I have at least 6 feet.

Did anyone install parking sensors in a fit?

What is the installation process?

Just the opposite in my mind. The fact you can almost park anywhere, makes you more aggressive in squeezing into smaller areas and thus the greater need for the sensor - although it should be tuned to millimeters rather than inches.

I've been to your country. Parking is incredibly tight everywhere. You have a much greater need for it than we do here in the US.
