Aloha FitFreak!!!

I am proud to announce that this 1 year and change site lurker has officially been inducted. Just picked her up today and the ride home has never been so joyful for me. Another good thing, you don't have to worry about bashing on me, I've done my time on the forums( was on 7thgenhonda.com) Drove a 2003 Honda Civic coupe but sold it to a friend who needed a car so I lended him a hand and broke even with the rest of my loan (the car was also under, but I didn't profit for the sake of helping him out). So yeah, I loved the car for what it was and I even hooked it up with a clean lip kit and a decent sound system, but now its time for my new love. Well, enough words, threads are for pics right guys hahahaha

Here she is!

Sweet, grats. It will also probably be near a year when I get my Fit as well. How come you waited so long?

Well the reason why I didn't post is because I wanted to do my research first and see what's hot and what's not, and I was also in the market for a new car. The 09 Fit then grew on me, this was around November.

So, I did what I thought would be most beneficial thing to do: Wait for the car that has what I want, and save. Then came along this lovely CBP Fit sport, manual, negotiate it to a decent price after seeing what everyone else was buying their fit at, and I slapped the financer in the face with a $4000 down payment, and was able to get a 4.69% APR with a 10 year/100K mile warranty and GAP.

Doing your homework helps, and the representative was aware of that, so he knew he couldn't step on me

nice car

you sure you needed GAP coverage after putting down 4k on a car this price. You shouldn't upside down very quickly with a car this price.

I got the GAP because you really never know what could happen. Accidents happen on both sides, your fault and the other persons fault. So it was just on the safe side, and the fact that it was only like $23 on top of monthly payments. Not too bad

Very nice pictures, black was my third choice behind Taffeta and Milano. Nice rate as well.

okay, an extra $23 one time for GAP isn't bad. I was just commenting because I see people pay $300 or more for GAP coverage and if you work out the numbers with a big down payment, it's just not worth it on a Honda because the value stays relatively high. I put nothing down for my Fit with Navi so I got GAP also. I pay $7 extra every 6 months on my insurance policy with Mercury Ins. in Cali, they usually drop it automatically after about a year once you are not upside down on your car and the car is worth more than the loan on it.

Yeah you're right about the high value (hope it lasts though hehe). But I understand what you're saying. Thanks for the info! Maybe I should have posted some questions regarding financing and such before I went, but I think I did a pretty good job

DOH! I hate it when dealerships try to advertise on your car.License plate, vinyl and crap all over. But that sucks that you got yours plugged in. I guess you're going to have to improvise and stick something else in there

As for the tint, I have no clue on what percent it is honestly. The dealership had it put on as to try to bump up the price of the vehicle. But seeing as my states law is 35%, I'd probably maybe say its a safe 50-45%.

Thank you again! wow I love FitFreak! So welcoming

Oh for sure I'll keep my bish clean! Haha I'm actually thinking about detailing it this weekend also. Stupid dealer put mad swirls and crap when they washed it. I guess they thought it would be a nice gesture but instead it made things worse LOL FAIL

Would you all like pictures of the process?

What moolman said is correct, GAP will almost always be cheaper with if you get it from your insurance. I was quoted an additional $15 per year for it. My own insurance company actually told me not to add it since my down payment was substantial.

Anyway. nice car dude! Black is gunna be a pain in the ass to keep clean, but looks the best when tinted properly.

This car seems to be popular with a lot of pinoys.
