Hi all, I've contacted iKONA636 and I want him to built a Kenstyle replica spoiler in carbon fiber for the GE8 Fit. Since I'm a few thousand miles away I'm wondering if there is anyone in the Chicago area that would be available to go see him for a test fitting?

I would also like to know if anyone else would be interested in the same spoiler for their 09 Fit.

Yep! In order to do this I would need to have an 09 fit owner bring his car by a few times so that we can remold the spoiler to fit the 09 hatch, flow with the angle of the hatch, and make sure it all fits right.

Then after that Id get onto making the mold for this, then replicate the products.

The test fitter would of coarse get a good deal on his or her spoiler if they want it.

 

you mean the test fitter would then get a free spoiler as I tell you know. First company top make a spoiler like this avaliable to the general public will make a killing off it. It will be how the spoon duckbill was for the eg's back in the day!

Looks too close to stock IMO. Hard to tell a difference.

 

I think the one that we could be making would look more aggressive and deffinatley bigger.

 

Same design just a bit longer? Not trying to hate or anything just doesnt look that much different.

 

I may be interested too....but I'd like something a wee bit more aggressive...

 

If I lived a bit closer I would do it, but its a bit of a drive.

actually i think the 09 stock spoiler looks alot better on the car, than the GD stock spoiler.

 

im down is it ok if i have a friend come by to pick it up? i got some peeps that live in chi-town

Sure it would be fine for locals to stop by the shop to pick it up, If hes close enough I can even drop it off. At least with in 30 min drive.
