Blitz/Pivot Throttle Controller

Hey guys,

Can anyone tell me the differences between these two products, except that Pivot has more settings? I can't seem to find much information about these products.

Also, both TC's are already listed as available in Japan. Are the TC's sold in Japan compatible with the North American FITS?

Thanks!

Theres lots of information out on the blitz controller for the GD3. If its out for the JDM it should be out for the USDM in no time. Plus all it does is give the car more throttle than what your applying to appear like the cars faster. Just give the car more gas for the same effect. Same feature as alot of the "Sport" buttons some modern cars are having.

People have claimed that when you give the Fit WOT it only opens up 80% and the controller will allow it to open up to 100% but there is no physical proof.

I understand that, but I want to know if I can fit the JDM throttle controller on my USDM Fit without issues.

No need to look for JDM controllers. Blitz already makes one for USDM Fits. I have one. It's part number 10406, and it's exactly the same as for the Civic Si. You may want the reverse cancel harness to turn it off when you back up. Or not.

And yes, it does make a huge difference compared to stock, especially if you already have done stuff like intake, header, etc.

You would get the same effect by just giving the car more throttle. It doesn't give your car any more hp. Just when your applying 10% throttle it gives the car more than that for you to think its faster when its not. At WOT it'll be the same exact thing, I haven't seen any proof to show that it opens the throttle more than the claimed 80%.

You have one on a GD right? Is there already one out for the GE?

I've never seen claims that it will give you more HP. It only operates the throttle, as you said. However, the stock computer will not give you WOT until around 5000-5500 RPM. The Blitz controller will give you WOT sooner than that. That's the point of having one. If there is anyone on this forum whom you trust, ask them about it.

If you want direct proof, drive in a Fit that has one, or buy one for yourself. Switch it on and off and compare the difference. Heck, you can even try out a Civic Si that has one installed, since it's the same as that for the Fit (GD3).

I'm fairly sure you can get it from the Group Buy section.
