time for brakes!

ok so i've been doing some research and im pretty sure that the disc specs on the gd and ge are the same, so i ordered some t1r slotted rotors and spoon calipers on impulse from my honda dealership :P should be in within the next 2 or 3 weeks

i'm not sure about a rear conversion though, i saw a T1R rear disk conversion for the Gd, i was wondering if that would mostly fit the GE? there are things that i can re-tool and they can work fine as long as i don't alter the structure, any more information on this?

to fit the spoon calipers without a custom bracket here are the specs you need

- 282mm*21mm rotors
**you can use Prelude VTEC rotor redrill to 4H100 or getsomething from Endless or Project Mu**
- INtegra Type-R pads
**anything which will work for this application cuz they fit into the Spoon calipers**
- Under rotor spacers 3mm x 2 pcs
- You might need longer studs if you need to run any spacers for the wheels to clear the brakes.

yeah my dealer can get anything you want as long as it has something to do with honda, i used to work there for a while. they told me it would void the brake warrenty if there was a problem with the brakes, im cool with that though. oh and as for the research thing all i did was sign back into their service computer and looked up the specs on both, then i bought them. haha

wheels are coming in soon, i'm going to be running 16" enkei rpf1's

and i paid 400 for both calipers and 170 for both rotors, my old boss said that since it's a special order and im getting it all from them they slashed the hell out of the prices so i could save some money

id like to know too. i know what the twin block calipers wholesale cost is, and the monoblocks are substantially more expensive. someone is getting screwed over somewhere. if it seems too good to be true. it probably is.
