I wish my fit would hurry and get here!

Ordered my 09 TF Feb 2, 09. It will be ava for me to pick up March 23rd.

Dealer options included winter and summer matts, side molding, b pillar real c/f trim, sport pedals, cargo cover, and door switch pannel.

I got the bulk of them for free and the others at dealer cost as I used to work there althoguh full msrp of 19280 on the fit, no biggie.

BUT just sitting around are

RS emblem
SSR type C in black ofcourse 16 x6.5 44mm
195 50 16 falken 912 tires
Ignited hid kit (will probably install)
Stubby antenna
Nokya yellow fogs
Tanabe DF springs
Broadway mirror
ARC titanium countersunk shift knob

and that's it, but I know its a damn fine start. Well once it gets here and i have time Ill install it all and take pics

Will be waiting for a exhaust and a intake, AJR says end april for this!

woo

Better be stretching out those fingers now if you don't plan on taking all that plastic off for the bolts on the front struts. The drivers side is a biaaatch.

Good luck! You have a nice collection of parts...It will be a good day of fun!

Can't wait to see pics..

lol, Ill see how much a b itch it is once I get there. For the amount of suspensions Ive done over 10-15 years, Im sure this will be just fine. I assume hurting fingers after from gettin the allen in there and working the top bolt off :P

But in the end, Ill smile and take it for a rip!

Yeah, that's how we roll cause when the coil overs come out and I dump it (wife saying ok pending, lol) then I have not worrie about it. Plus I have spacers for the rear if I dont like it but all my cars have always been like that so really, its all good

Plus its just my daily, when I want a race car feel, I get into the S

damn like 1.3 more weeks fawk :S

Yea there is just not a lot of room to work with on the driver side strut. Just a tip but take the brake reservoir cap off when working on the drivers side (it is right in the way...so it helps a little just to take it off to give you a little more space). Just make sure to put it back on .

I am curious to see how your 16" SSR's look. Those were my first choice in rims but I wanted 17's in gunmetal. I can't decide if I want 17"s or 16"s though. I am leaning towards 16's just because this car is my DD also and the roads around here suck. I think 17" would get a bent rim esp. with the stiffer spring rate of the DF's.
I can't remember but I think you said your fit was TW (to match your S I'm guessing?) correct me if I'm wrong...but if it is TW the black SSR's will look sweet on there.

yup tw, df's will be on it and black ssr in 16, reason i went 16, lighter, better on gas, better accel and a more smooth ride. So all items ftw!

and the 195-50-16 23.8 diameter to the oem 24.2 so its a tad smaller which will leave me half inch shorter then oem resulting in .2" more gap but less chance to ever rub and again better on gas, lighter and yaddie yaddie

I don't care what anyone says. taking all that plastic off is way
easier than not taking it off.
I just did another Fit this past weekend and the second time
around was even easier. it took less than 4 hours to do springs,
drl mod and fog light mod. well worth it. now i have experience.
just in case a wiper motor goes bad or i need to replace
spark plugs.

My DF's are arriving any minute now, I'm literally on my laptop camping right next to my front door ^_^

I can't wait either, for my last 2 VS-XX for the R32 Should be in the states by end of this month, in my hands early April.

As for the Fit, just the JDM hazard for now. Wife doesn't really want me modding it with expensive parts. At least for now

lol, damn wives of soon to be ones :P

As per up above, I read drl mod and foglight mod, what mods are you talking about? Im pretty smart with these cars already and have yet to read any mods (lol cheat codes). I just assume remove fuse for drl and no idea for fogs

yeah I think it's remove fuse #15 for the DRL, I've disabled on the R32 via a tool called VAGCOM.

As for the fog lights I hear it's possible to rewire it to run independently from your low beams, at least you could do this in the 99 Civics.

Well I still have my 96 GSR, so as soon as I sell it, pay off the R32, about 8200 left on the loan, I'll have more play money, and mods for the Fit hopefully.

Dude our cars are gonna look almost the same lol

Mines TW, lowered on DF's, got an RS emblem on the way, nokya yellow fogs, independant fogs, disabled DRL's.

Although I know I want bronze wheels, but still undecided on which ones.
