Updated Crutchfield

I just saw that Crutchfield has updated their site to have options for the 09 Fits. My only issue is that they are not recomending any double din recievers? I have already seen these in use on this forum. I guess my question is that if you can get the right wire harness and make your own mounting kit, can't you use whatever reciever you like?

most are, but I am sure Scosche or Metra will come out with some crappy looking piece Crutchfield will want to charge $80 for.

You can also buy the JDM double din rails from Japanparts.com - Mail order from Japan directly|JDM Parts,Performance Auto Parts, for Subaru, Mazda,Mitsubishi,Honda,Nissan,Toyota car to install any headunit utilizing the OEM navi panel

yes. definitely use the oem nav panel instead of a metra or scosche one. the fit will be sooo much better.
