what new car should i get?
This is like asking do I want to bang a good looking chick, or go home and whack off. The Caliber? Really? At least go with the Jeep version, since it has a bit of manliness to it. If you don't want another Honda get a Corolla or Sentra. Shit, just get another Fit.
Have you driven a Caliber? I had one as a rental once and they are awful cars. Hardly any trunk space, cramped seating, slow, poor handling, poor visibility, cheap interior, lousy gas mileage. I honestly don't know how they managed to make a car that size with so little interior space. And yes, it's a Chrysler, so it will self-destruct at 80,000 miles.

don't forget chrysler as a whole company is not doing well right now... so in the long run that warranty might be worthless anyway. they might either go out of business or be sold off to some european company
Yeah, I like the Forester. They start around 20k, are rated at 26MPG on the highway, reviewers traditionally observe around 30MPG. I'll take my 38MPG and lower overall cost to own with the Fit....but them Subie's are nice!

well i have a fit sport /NAV this is just car #2 thats all and trust me if i could i would get a WRX or a EVO but i cant i may get an Si but for now i miss having an EX
Well I have test drove a caliber & it's kinda drives like plain ole bread. Well it seemed okay for just a basic car, but it was just basic. Plus I lost my trust in chrysler a long time ago when I had turbo PT. If you go with the caliber, you would definitely be shooting yourself, (which I hope not, I don't wish that for anybody not even for Barney Fife, lol) But anyways, just go with a Civic. Even a 10+ year old civic would do just fine.
