Window Visors and wind noise.

I like to drive with my windows open . The Fit is not the best at this. Do the window visors help cut down on wind noise (with the windows open)?
I'm also really tall, (6'5") will they cut into my sight lines?
Thanks for the help.

The OEM ones hang kinda low so they may interfere with you sight a little bit, not enough to be a problem tho. They do help with wind noise, but what drives me nuts is the drivers window rattling over bumps when you only have it down a few inches. I know others have mentioned this problem, Anyone have a fix?

Just lower it more lol I usually have my window open about 3 inches under the visor. That way it doesn't rattle and I still get some air without the crazy wind noise. I love my visors.

i have Mugen visors and they seem to be pretty good, when you just crack the window enough to let air flow theres a whistling sound, but it's very faint. overall i love my visors, i think they look better than oem and they don't sit too low for me and i'm 6 foot

I have the Mugen ones also and they do a great job. There are some low wind sounds but I never notice them.

Do you have the Mugen style or originals? Like 'em, but can't afford the originals.

i would never buy a knock off. they are always just cheap imitations, if you're going to buy them just save up a bit and buy the real thing

Or get the OEM honda ones that work just as good and look just as good IMO. Cost me under $60 with shipping.

yea, I really like the Mugens style, but $200-250 for vent visors is a little over the top. I had a '04 Civic with "knock off" visors and they worked fine, didn't seem cheap at all.

The OEM ones are equal in quality to that of mugen. Mounted by the same clips and adhesive and made of the same material. You pay for the styling and name. They are under $200 though.

Ah gotcha I agree with you about the knock offs. Stay away.

I love the mugen visors but the OEM ones are 1/3rd the price and look just fine for me.

I know they cost a little more but they have really worked well and I haven't had any problems with them. Of course I also have real Mugen racing pedals, the door sills and Mugen rear view mirror cover, Mugen e-brake cover, Mugen radiator cap. I have a Mugen logo under the Fit emblem. I loved Marcs Mugened out Fit in Siphon mag which inspired me to do as much Mugen as I could afford to do.

Here it is:

I have a little carbon fiber around the center console too but I think it dresses it up some!

Hoping Weathertech makes some in channel vent visors for the '09 Fit. I have these on all my other vehicles and really like them.
