hey yo i was wondering if any body can tell me if is safe to wash the engine of my FIT,an if it is can some one tell me the proper way to do it,Thank's.

weeellll... I've seen a dude spray a hose inside the hood, but I know for a fact that that's a bad idea because of the batery and exposed wires. Safest bet is to go in with a cloth.

I use simple green (I think that's what its called) that I got at AutoZone and some rags to clean my engine bay. I also use just wet paper towels sometimes if it's just a little dirty.
