Inaccurate Trip MPG

Lightbulb Inaccurate Trip MPG

My 2009 Fit Sport AT gets about 4-5 MPG less than the trip meter displays. Is this common? I see about 37 MPG driving to work but at the pump is it really about 33.

Is there a software upgrade to make this more accurate?

there have been many threads about this.. and idk if there is any software to fix it.

Yes this is a known issue...and I don't believe Honda has a fix. You may want to continue calculating manually to obtain the most accurate results. Here are a few links to get you started:
