Floor Mats
Are Floor Mats Included?
Hey n00b here.
Anyway got my '09 fit last night. Love the car. Stupid question, but I can't seem to find the answer....does the Fit come with floor mats or do I need to go shopping?
Thx!

College Hills Honda has some decent prices if you want OEM: Honda Fit Accessories - Genuine 2009 Honda Fit Interior Accessories
I think they do this to keep some of the cost down, which may be a good thing because you get to choose what you want.

I am thinking the all-weather mats look nice and will be more functional for me than carpet ones.
The Fit comes without floor mats, just as virtually any other non-luxury car because thats how they sell extra stuff for mucho profit. Try Majestic Honda for best price or ebay.
PS if you go shopping at wallyWorld you not likely to find mats that fit the Honda retaining clips.
If you go with OEM, the install is pretty straight forward, only on the drivers side you'll need to cut a lil piece of the carpet if you install it yourself. Scarey at first but it's purpose is to secure the drivers mat in place.
lulz. I thought about going ghetto, because the mats are pretty pricey. But I don't live downtown so I always get rocks, snow, ice, salt and sometimes mud on the feet and was like....eh, I just dropped the cash on a new car so...here we are.

If you have rocks, snow, mud and salt go for the Weathertech. I bought the All-Season mats and found that the melted snow would pool and spill over the lip of the mats in the front left corner, getting the floor and "carpet
" all wet. I ordered the Weathertechs and used them this winter. And we had lots of snow this year. They worked out really well.
I kept the All-Season mats in the rear and thought I'd switch out the front to the All-Seasons in the summer. But I decided to leave the Weathertechs in all year, because of mud and my gravel driveway.
I guess it depends on where you live. But I think for snow alone, they are worth the money.
I just got my weather tech last week, I have them in all my vehicles and love them. Now hopefully they'll make them for the back in the near future.
I would have bought the Mugen ones.I'm also waiting for the weather tech floor liners for the winter months.... They still don't make em for the MT's either, but supposedly you can file down where the liner catches with the clutch pedal and it will work fine. I'm waiting till weather tech releases the rears floor liners as well.
The rear seat back/hatch mat would be nice too. Even though I already got the JDM Honda mat for the seatbacks and cargo area.

Yeah i'm not impressed with the all-weathers, they don't fit really well, especially the driver's mat; it doesn't stay all the way to the left side of the floorboard, so the carpet still gets dirty..... Oh well, I love wasting $100+.
I noticed that even Porsche makes floormats an option, at least in some vehicles. A guy I know from another board posted the option list for his Porsche Cayenne Turbo, and low and behold; floormats were an option on what.....an $80-90k vehicle?? WTF?!

Yeah I'm noticing that too... I bought mine well before the Mugens were out, those kinda look like they're much better quality.
