New 09 Fit Sport Owner...so long e39
Really loving my new 09 Fit Sport (in Crystal Black) - just picked it up last Friday. Had a great experience at a local dealer here in Atlanta and really getting to know my Fit. Strange as this sounds, I just sold my Dinan5 (1998 e39) with over 300hp and really just needed something more simpler, fun, nimble and just...well, Honda quality.
I guess I missed owning Honda's - started my life with a 1976 Honda CVCC, then a 79 Accord hatchback and then a 1981 Prelude...so the Fit really brings back some great memories for me in terms of the soul that all of these cars had before....just wish the Fit had a sun room
So here she is in all her beauty:

And of course, I still have some power in reserve...my other toy:

very nice..the black is extra sharp.
enjoy the new fit!
Just my opinion but I'd get rid of the pinstripe. Also just from prior experience from my last car (Black Acura CL-S) get a clear bra on the front of that baby quick. The smallest stones will destroy that lower black hood and bumper.

Good to see another previous yaris member on the forum. I too traded my yaris for an 09 black fit sport. Huge difference! I love the fit. I was seriously considering just trading up to a 4 door yaris hatch but no one in the US had them and after test driving the fit, I was hooked.
Thanks everyone - and yes, Curry was removed from the Fit right after those pics. And yes to clear bra...I am working on tint now and then look at bumper and hood. I am shocked at how expensive the clear bra applicatiosn have gotten recently...like for front hood and nose, I am seeing around $500-700 for just the DIT pre-cut kits!
My 540i was a 6spd non-M, but would give the M's a run for their money...I will post a pic later tonight. It looked sharp.

WOW 500-700?
I buy my bulk film from here...
There prices for the kits are alot more reasonable...

Ok I found your link....great prices and excellent write up. Does not look like they make a Sport nose kit yet (?)

oops didn't realize that was for the base.
Here is another place but they want $300 for the bumper for the sport. Kinda pricey if you ask me.

I just ended up using my bulk film and making my own template on the front bumper and covering the major areas. This was a big pain in the butt but I was able to do it for $100. Can't even see it unless your a foot away.
A little ingenuity and alot of patience saves some green...lol.
