nothing wrong with brainstorming ...hahaha

what you have to do is actually get an 8 ball and drill a hole in it and tap it to fit on your shifter. its done because it is an old school trick before weighted shifters were invented.

use another ball though because everyone has an 8 ball or cue ball shift knob.

mole177 05-27-2009 03:13 PM

you've got to be kidding...

maybe snooker ball then. haha

kylerwho 05-27-2009 03:14 PM

i was talking about another number ball..... i had a 13 ball on my old school celica..

I really considered doing just this to my Fit, but I decided that the "8-ball" shift knob is better suited to a Harley panhead with a jockey shift.

Uncle Gary 05-27-2009 09:34 PM

As long as we're considering tacky shift knobs, how about one of these?

EPCO - Gearshift Knobs

I was thinking maybe one of the swirly plastic knobs.

8ball would look nice on a car like a MINI Cooper, but not sure on our cars.
