thinking of a new shifter (mt)

you guys think an 8ball shifter is tacky?

edit- shift knob....

what you have to do is actually get an 8 ball and drill a hole in it and tap it to fit on your shifter. its done because it is an old school trick before weighted shifters were invented.

use another ball though because everyone has an 8 ball or cue ball shift knob.

I really considered doing just this to my Fit, but I decided that the "8-ball" shift knob is better suited to a Harley panhead with a jockey shift.

As long as we're considering tacky shift knobs, how about one of these?

EPCO - Gearshift Knobs

I was thinking maybe one of the swirly plastic knobs.

8ball would look nice on a car like a MINI Cooper, but not sure on our cars.
