That's when rage overcame me and I dished it out to the offending car.

I'm going to put a clearbra on my rear bumper (as a DIY). The pictures you posted gives me a good idea on how much coverage to put & where. So feel better knowing that this incident will help out at least one fellow Fit owner.
right on... glad to help out...

SOOO.. i just talked to a small body shop in my town and they are going to pull the old bumper off and sand it all down and re paint it and put it back on for 267$......

Just be careful....you usually get what you pay for. Check the shop out with the BBB at the least.

What's there to be careful about? That sounds about right but he can probably get it cheaper if he takes the bumper off himself and take it to the body shop just for the paint n stuff but I wouldn't pay any higher than that price,!

yah, if you know how to remove the bumper and all, just take it off and carry it in. your car is new and it's your bumper so paint match should be fairly easy.

I have to recommend as well that you take the bumper off yourself and walk it in. It's really easy to do.
