Ok, the Clearbra was finally finished today. Whole frontend was done, so no annoying lines to see. You can't even tell it's there.

Here's some pics:

I also did the Accord horn upgrade. BIG difference in loudness, no more *meep meep*

Then I installed the black billet grille I ordered on eBay from Mr. Grille. The install was fairly easy, you just need help from a friend to hold it while you secure it with zip ties from behind. I ended up using 8 zip ties to secure the new grille.

Here's some pics:

Here's another one without flash:

I think this grille looks so good with the car. I chose black because I didn't want it to be too flashy or noticeable like the silver version. The black goes really well with the black and white theme I'm going for.

Now I can drive with the peace of mind that I won't get any rock chips, or any rocks potentially damaging my A/C condenser.

I'll take better pics tomorrow when I get off from work, while the sun is still out.

hmm i've been thinking about getting that billet grille. i am paranoid about my condenser destroyed by a rock. the only reason i've waited is because i was concerned that the installation would be a pain. if it only takes 8 zip ties, i think i'll move forward!

I was paranoid too, and that's why I got mine. I didn't wanna go cheap and get some wire mesh, I wanted something that looked pretty slick.

Yep, I used 8 zip ties. Installation was about 15 minutes.

You just need a friend to help you because you'll need someone to hold the grill while you secure it from behind.

Mr. Grille

They also have a storefront on ebay and are quick to respond to questions. Very nice chaps.

No lines visible at all.

I didn't wanna half-ass it and get only half the hood. It would annoy the hell out of me to see a line going across the hood and fenders.

Do it right the first time

Oh yeah I can certainly see that

It's coming along pretty well! The badge delete, tint and black billet grille are all so cleanly done.

What's next on the mod list?

I have a Honda OEM armrest and cargo tray coming in a couple of days. Gonna throw those in next.

After that, I'll probably save up some money and get those Clazzio seat covers, they just look so awesome

Thinking of going JDM taillights as well, but those aren't on the top of my priority list.

Came home to this today:

Opened it up and my order finally came in. OEM armrest, cargo tray, and first aid kit:

Tossed the tray and FI kit in the car. The FI kit fits perfectly in the little cubby hole

Does the grille void the engine warranty?

Grille won't void the warranty. You're not doing anything to hurt the engine in anyway. It's not restricting any air flow to the condenser unit either.

Myke,

On the clearbra installation, what was the total cost and which pieces were covered? And which brand?

Here's the first quote I've received in my area. (Venture Shield)

Hood, fenders, mirrors - $399
Bumper - $499
headlights - $129

That's going to be $1000 total to do the whole front on my end.

Thanks.
