A Dog!

Argh! I was driving to work, thankfully through a residential area, when a dog trotted out into the road. I thought he'd see me and stop but he was watching another car. He just plopped right into my door door. Didn't hurt him. He just sat there stunned for a second and trotted off. But it left to little shallow dents in the bottom of my driver's side front door. What luck! They aren't noticeable unless you know they are there. But I know they are there and that's the problem....

How fast were you going at the time? That's a pretty weird story, good luck in the future.

Luckily, b/c of a detour, I had just turned onto the street and begun to accelerate. So maybe only 30-35 mph?

Oddly the same thing happened to my wife's car when I was driving in a 25 mph neighborhood. Scared the crap out of my wife and left similar dents to what you described. I don't think they'll be hard to get out but I haven't gotten around to calling the dent guy yet.
