Fit and "H" emblems

Hi to everyone! It's been a week since i ordered my new white fit and just can't wait anymore. As a "H" freak i want to start the "aftermarket-shopping" in advance. Could u tell me exactly which red "H" emblems should i buy (front and rear)? so they can match perfectly with the right size.

you will need an ep3 front emblem and a dc5 rear emblem. If you dont know honda chassis codes then its an 02-05 honda civic type r and an 02-06 integra type r. I ordered mine from jdmland.com it was like 70 shipped for both and they are actual honda part numbers. the ebay ones i kept running across were all like either 90 or 100.

So true!! They are nice though. If I had extra money, I'd buy them myself, but I'm scared people would steal it . Southeast San Diego isn't the safest place to have a nice car lol.

I did murder out my emblems though...cost me about $12 for the paint and the double-sided tape.

Cost-effective way of having a unique emblem imo

How are those holding up? Any chipping? Did you sand them down and then paint 'em?

I didn't sand it down, but I think I should have. The front emblem actually chipped (probably got hit by a pebble or something) but the back one is still sexay

I might just re-do the front one because of that little crack though. Remove all the paint and sand it down and maybe this time apply a clear coat. (I don't want the clear coat though because the flat black looks so much cleaner imo)

lol...so true...100 bucks for plastic emblems...I would rather use that money towards tint, springs, intake, exhaust or something else that will actually improve the performance/efficiency of my fit.

I'd argue that springs and tint do not improve the performance or the efficiency of your fit. Springs maybe for cornering with the lower center of gravity, but I doubt you'd notice/use it in everyday driving.

The emblems are purely for looks, and they usually do a good job of it. Are they worth it for the piece of plastic? Probably not. But are they worth it in terms of the final product on your fit? That's for you to decide. I originally thought the same when I first found out the price....but then I realized that I look at my car on a daily basis, and love the look of the red on my TW Fit, so in retrospect 100 bucks isn't that much for the satisfaction I get

Red is clinically proven to be the most aerodynamic, due to being the darkest of the colors, next to black of course. However, black is the worst due to the fact that it makes the car hotter and overworks the AC and results in poor mpg.

I have front and rear red H emblems, from that same seller on eBay above, and the RS emblem. I love the look and don't regret what I paid.

The origianl front badge is 3-dimensional, it looks like the red ones are just flat. Does anyone have a pic of what it looks like with the red flat emblems? I am worried that it won't look right in the grille.
