BTW...to clarify what fuse to pull, which i was confused with when doing this:
1) Fuse location is number 15 on the diagram
2) The fuse amp is 7.5
So look for 7.5 (red i think) in position 15 on the diagram panel
good luck!

I do love 'em. Super convenient in the parking garage, without having to remember to turn off the lights after leaving the parking garage. Ideal at twilight, where it's not quite dark enough for headlights, but when I'd personally prefer a bit more visibility.
And it helps a tiny bit to see oncoming traffic when the sun is in my eyes, if THEY have DRL. I really enjoy safety features that are useful for many many circumstances.
There's a law in California that if your wipers are on, you MUST have your headlights on. I don't know if they consider the DRL as official headlights, but I figure on those misty days when I turn the wiper on and off manually every now and then, the extra visibility with the DRL is a plus and MIGHT help against getting a ticket on those misty days.

So i've read the posts and while most people say DRLs do not work with HIDS, i've read some posts where their DRLs work with their HID kit.
So do DRLs work with HIDS, but aren't good for the HID kit? Or do they not work at all? Sorry, I'm a bit confused!

sorry for the bad image, The white box says: The one that is boxed is the fuse you want to pull out. You can put it back in to an empty slot.. Look at the picture that is in the lower left of the driver seat and put the fuse in a slot that has an "X" through it. I believe you can put it under the green 30 amp fuse that is in the 4th row
btw, your sig says that you have HIDs, so I am confused.. Do you have DRLs running or what?

I would not recommend turning on the DRL with HIDs. If you want something sort of DRLs, make your fog lights independent. I believe that there is a DIY somewhere on this forum.

Hey I know DLR are for safety. I never had a car with them before, but I use my low beams a lot if its questionable visibility,,but the Fits are so damned big, just a small amber light (Vettes and Dodge minivans have the best) would be better. And they still look dumb as hell in town

HID Hi/Lo and DRL
I just converted my 2009 Honda Fit Sport headlights and fog lights to HID. Headlight maintains both high and low beams as well as DRL. It look awesome.
