Thinking of selling - 2009 Fit Sport SSM - Navi 5-speed

So I'm thinking of selling my 2009 Fit Sport Storm Silver Metallic - moved to NYC and use it too infrequently to justify the parking costs.

It's a 2009 Navi 5-speed Manual with 9400 miles. Almost all highway including a very fun drive cross country

The NYC parking lot attendants have left one little scrape on the rear bumper, but other than that it's mint.

Has the all weather floor mats too

Trying to figure out what to ask for it. Any thoughts here?

Really? Of course I had already checked KBB. My thinking was this is a better proxy for demand than KBB, particularly since the 2010's won't have the 5SM with navi as an option.

KBB is just a starting point. It's worth whatever a buyer is willing to pay.

yeah, and I think kbb and edmunds are in league with the devil (dealers) to show too high prices (when you're buying) and too low (when you're selling/trading). Watch auto trader's site for a week or two and see what's happening in your area.

How was the Fit during the cross-country trek? Was the directional stability okay? What was your MPG?

Got about 33 MPGs. Didn't have any major trouble with directional stability even when very windy.

Was really a great car all around for the trip. Although heading up to the Eisenhower tunnel in CO was an exercise in patience.

Glad to hear the squirminess from crosswinds didn't affect you. To me, it shows your alignment was on. That's what I noticed about this car. I had my first alignment done on my car and it became much more sensitive to the crosswinds. I then went to another shop to re-do the alignment and now it's much better, as it was during my 1st year of driving this thing.

But "only" 33 mpg? Must've been a heavy load with headwinds, A/C and steep hills.

I am looking forward to relocating back east as well, where I'm originally from. If and when I do so, I can't wait to drive my Fit cross-country.

this is a forum for fit enthusiasts -- not at all representative of market demand. honda's sales / production numbers serve as a much better proxy, which means bulk of demand for fits will be of the sport auto w/o nav variety.
