Strengthening the Fit GE8 Suspension
What might assuage your concerns is that some kits are adjustable for ride comfort. For example, my Tein kit has three "comfort" settings. (I chose to go with medium stiffness because I want to feel like I'm on the road. I assume the soft setting is what you're looking for.)
I too have big friends who freeload my gas, which was one albeit small reason why I opted for coilovers. You might want to further look into matching springs with dampers though, because I've read somewhere on the Internetz that improperly matching the two may destroy your suspension.
If you only want to invest in springs, my best recommendation is for the Eibach Pro-Kit. Eibach has a strong track racing history you can rely on. I've noticed that a lot of people on the Internetz recommend Skunk2 and Tanabe. Otherwise, just pick a brand that vibes with you.

eh.. same here... i think ur right tho... from what i see... when fit owners get a full coilover suspension, adding a rear sway bar is kind of overkill... theres no real need after acquiring stiffer springs and the dampening adjustability...
just an assumption.. but someone with coilovers wanna chime in on the subject...?

I think that there is a possibility of having DD comfort and on-track performance... to a certain extent of course. Coilovers are a great option for anyone, if you can afford them. If all you are looking for is height adjustability, then Tein basics would be an obvious option, but an awesome setup that i've been tinkering in my mind would be custom re-valved Tein Basics matched up with Swift Springs... dr00L! If i weren't riding on Buddy Club's already, i'd definately rock that setup.
As far as a rear-sway bar goes, it all depends on ure driving style during HPD situations... enuff said, if you aren't able to understand that point, no reason to explain and/or go on any further

P'Lek:
When you're speaking about your dissatisfaction with your suspension setup, are you referring to dd or track? Drifting aside, you actually want some body roll/suspension travel for GRIP purposes! If you're talking tire setups, try a set of tires that have REINFORCED Sidewalls like the Azenis RT-615's or Toyo T1R's, you'll feel a difference, promise!
Hi, it's my 1st post here and just to share with fellow GE drivers hee. I am from Singapore btw..
I am currently on HKS S-compact fully adjustable 30point coilover. Also fixed up with JS racing Roll Center Adjuster. The only bar I installed is Cusco front tower bar.
Overall I am pleased. Roll significantly reduced. Other bars like lower braces, anti roll etc not required unless tracking often as u will risk hitting them on more humps as there are everywhere over here in SGP. The RCA difinitely helps reduce roll but if u want a stiffer chasis then add the bars according to what u require. Not every1 drives n enjos the same way the car behaves.
But UR bars aren't very good to what I know of. Some of their bars mounting point is weird n not directly onto or shocks e.g for the front strut etc.. Some1 even commently the design is not very good and cause the bar to be consistently hitting on the exhaust...
Enjoy ur ride!
