I went 1 day. Some yahoo put 2 dents in my door at the mall. Small, and I put side moulding on that covered them up. None since.

 

Around 6 months. I was in a gas station, went into reverse, forgot about the high curb at the front, 1st gear (couldn't see the curb) and yeah, bang! Still hasn't fixed that yet. Need to use my car everyday.

 

Purchased May 2007 no dings! I even show my car and it won a trophy a few weekends ago for best paint! A Fit?????? Anyway, I never park near the stores, park in the back 40 - at work I was able to park in a safe spot with other imports but now my part-time job is over I am without that safe parking spot. I had the option to park in the public lot - NOT! or walk across the 4 lane to a empty parking lot that most people refuse to use. So far no dings and I can safely park away from everyone so far so good!

I got my first scratch from some dbag keying my car(never found out who it was) only 1 month of owning my car. First dent was 2 months...shopping cart. very small dint but god it hurts when i see it, i once heard dry ice can help get those little ones out but im not sure...

 

not sure when my first ding came but ive fixed a few using my PDR gear on my 08. the 09 has been pretty lucky.

my G is 5yrs+ (original owner) and never gotten a single ding.... well, can't really, since the only stop she makes is at the gas station. hahaha the only time it could happen is if a tree dropped an apple on it while im motoring through the forest.

ive had that happen on my previous cooper-s.... got hit on the bonnet (hood) and man did it take me hours to fix...

 

I'm really paranoid about parking. I have now passed the trait onto my wife. We currently have no dents on either one of our cars (07 TSX & 09 Fit (bought Jan 09)). Key is parking away from dumb a$$es and utilizing end spots. I had my Acura CL-S for 5 years. Not one door dent. I hope our current cars blow that record out of the water.

 

my ride just collected its first dent last weekend! abt 4 mths.. T_T im so sad... n feel destroyed... i gotta get it fixed by those PDR professionals...
