I know you said you didn't mess with the wires, but i could almost guarantee that's your problem. Did you triple check and make sure everything is secure and connected?

HONDAMATIC 12-10-2009 02:28 AM

yeah you better recheck i bet the abs wire got stretched and damaged

vinn 12-10-2009 02:39 AM

did you plug the ABS wire back? or stretched?

FitDEEZ 12-10-2009 02:55 AM

im gunna check tmrw ... if its damaged what could i do to fix it?

FitDEEZ 12-10-2009 02:58 AM

would the abs wire affect the traction light aswell?

FitDEEZ 12-10-2009 07:22 AM

yes most definitely, that's how basic traction control systems work, they utilize the abs to detect slip.

You had to disconnect the wire from the strut to get it off the car, but if you didn't remove it from the hub more than likely you stretched it and damaged it. Did you possibly hang it with the strut when pulling it out?

prepare to spend some money getting the lines fixed.
