Wheel Sizes

I am looking to put new wheels on my 2nd Gen base model. Anyone know if I can put the 2008 model HFP wheels on the 2009 model? What are the sizes and offsets of the 2009 model? I am looking to put 16" wheels on, what is the tire size for the HFP wheels for 2008 and 2009? The Honda accessory 16"? Any help would be great! Thanks.

The HFP wheels on the 08 will fit fine on your 09 and as far as I know they are 50s offset so you shouldn't have problems with rubbing even if you're lowered.

Stock GD offset is 55 and 53 for GE if I remember correctly.

However something to consider...........

if you drop down to mid 40 offset it looks better (I think most here would agree)

And you prolly can get lighter wheels (like Enkei RPF1) for similar money and you will notice a performance improvement IMHO

tork is correct, the GD offset is 55mm, the GE's is 53mm. the best part about the fit, is you can put almost any 4x100 wheel on it, because our offset is to high. the lower the number, the further out it's gonna stick, just an fyi. mini cooper rims fit perfect, they even have the same hub bore as hondas.

anyone know what the steel tire size woudl be?

I just bought a '10 fit, and would like to buy 4 steel wheels (and will get 4 studded snows) for easier change over in the fall. (we keep two sets of rims/tires for all our cars- so I dont have to keep paying the local shop 55 bucks to change over the tires 2x a year) I have 15" alloys on mine, but I think that I could get away with the 14"s (and their much cheaper tire size), not to mention better ride quality on frozen, pot holed roads.

Thanks

Thanks for the info, so far.

Can anyone suggest other 16" wheels that are reasonably priced. I am looking for black y-spoked wheels if I can find them.

Any help and/or pics would be great!
