i just bought a red dot fit emblem for my 09 fit but dont know how to take the old one off can anyone fill me in? plus also the red honda sign that will fit the rear area? thanks

 

slide some fishing line between the emblem and the trunk. slide it back and forth, separating the emblem from the car. Use goo gone to get the extra stick stuff off.

 

That emblem was one of the first things I did to mine... the blue one would have been fine but the red jdm ones are actually slightly cheaper.

I just peeled the sucker right off... just be careful not to bend the original emblem in such a way that you scratch your car. I used wax to clean up the residual sticky stuff.

 

Don't try to rub the adhesive off with your fingers! I made that mistake on my GD.... ouch..... :P
