JDM rear badge

I have recently purchased the JDM rear badge , P/N 75700-S5T-E01.
The curvature of the badge does not conform to the curvature of the rear garnish. For those who have installed this, how did you get your type r badge to conform to the curvature of the rear garnish?

right now, if I adhere the badge to conform at the top, there is more than 1 cm of space at the bottom between the badge and the garnish.

Did you guys have to bend ur badge to make it fit?

i took a heat gun to the back side of it and just softened up the plastic a bit. then put it on. and just kept working it till it fit the shape. just be careful not to heat it up too much. it may discolor the badge. i just took my time. took me like 35 mins to install the badge but i am a bit of a perfectionist.

i just pressed down on the top and bottom parts of the badge while on the garnish. that way it wouldn't snap in half. did that for a good 5 mins and i haven't had any lifting issues.

I just put it on and left it that way. the sticky pad on the emblem is pretty good, so it takes quite a bit of force to pull it off. You don't notice it unless you really look at it and I've had mine on for over a year in all kinds of weather conditions and it has yet to be a problem.

Leave the badge in the hot summer sun for at least 2-3 hours, peel the tape protector and install it. Press and hold for 5 minutes. It will come out good and curve to the garnish.
