I've put 300+ miles on the fit in the past couple of days... and I am in love.

I've named him 'Meep'. Hit the lock button twice after getting out of the car and you'll understand why. :P

I raced in my third gymkhana this afternoon at Harris Hill Road. Complete with a dunk tank. Most fun ever.

I saw that they were having this from the FB fan page. Wish I had paid better notice to the date and made it out there. Did you do any e-brake slides? The Central Texas Fit chapter has to meet up soon.

Back from Kentucky--If they came in from this weekend, the tires are going on tomorrow.

Still missing one centercap--hopefully it will come in this week.

I think they missed his windshield? Pretty funny. They like to have a good time out there, and it's a relaxed atmosphere. Bo took me for a lap in his 335i a while back, and it was a blast. Nice folks!

my terrible video didnt capture what was happening, but near the end of the lap they had a dunk tank (water bench bullseye splash) and you had to stop next to it (or as close as you could get) with your window down and punch the bullseye while the guy in the tank blasted you with a supersoaker. As you can see, he put up a fair fight.

Thanks! I have an ideal environment for a plasma, so I went for it. The colors are amazing, and the high refresh rate makes a big difference overall I like the look of it all better than lcd, but for daytime viewing or bright room, I can see why people don't like them. A blu ray player is in the works, but I might just see how GT5 looks and get a ps3 to cover that.

Hahaha! Where do they come up with this stuff? I guess that's the joy in it - being creative.

my Fit's first encounter with the law

Doin my regular rounds in Northlake, IL and was parked on street instead of Px's driveway. Cop was checking the car, passed it and made a u turn and parked in front of me but across the street and continues to check it out. Since I just had my tints last friday, I thought it was all about that. He then proceeds to drive off only to make another u turn and and unto my back. Sh*t... here we go.
He asked me why I was just parked there and is just sitting inside and told me that my plates does not match my car... plates was for a Nissan! He then asked fo lics, ins and reg after telling him that I'm in healthcare, just bought the car new last month and plates were from the dealer.
After running a check, he told me I'm clean and he just accidentally flipped a number on my plates and it was his mistake (lol ok... if you say so). Told me to have a nice day and sent me off. I guess tints held off without a hitch (downtown Chicago still write tint tickets for some reason). We met again at my next Px stop and cop waved at me with a smile, I waved back

I read somewhere that the City of Chicago still has the same tint laws according to the Chicago Municipal Code, contradictory to what the State of Illinois law says. It doesn't make sense to me, personally....then again, I don't plan to tint my windows--I don't want to get hassled.
