That won't be a problem.

I'm testing the waters. Trying to see how many people are really down to purchase a RACELINE USA supercharger kit. Uses an HKS GT supercharger.

I got you man. I'm not interested in supercharging my GE8 either. I'm just working with my buddy at RACELINE USA trying to see if it's work assembling a kit for the GE8 or not. We already made a kit for the K-Series. Now we're thinking about mass production.

I guess it all comes down to $ per horsepower. If you create a high value kit, then they will sell. The turbo competition hasn't gotten sorted out yet, so the price point would not be well informed by the market for this particular car, but in the grand scheme of things, you guys should know what high value is for a comparable product and engine.

What kind of power are people putting down (reliably) with a supercharger vs. turbo on the GDs?

I wish I could tell you what the figures are but I have never had the car on a dyno... The power delivery is not at all like a turbo and follows the same power band as the stock engine only further with the rev limit set at 7100 RPM by the ECU reflash by Hondata and a whole lot stronger... Reliability seems to be fine but with the A/F ratios being rather rich I think that more frequent oil changes and higher viscosity oil is necessary... If I wasn't an old man that has destroyed a good number of machines in my younger days I would have already trashed the clutch and possibly other drive train components and I do need to fix or replace the engine mounts especially if I install sticky tires.... The high boost kit feels much stronger than the numbers KraftWerks quotes from their dyno testing would lead you to believe... It is a completely different animal than it would be with a turbo.
