I at least got to 2000 before this happened at SFO short-term parking.

I got a tube of touch-up paint. It's not too noticable, and I'm not about to pay to have the entire bumper repainted for a few scuffs.

Good news is that Orange Revolution Metalic is easy as heck to blend and hard to get a bad mix. Bad news is it aint cheap to have someone else do.

ive used touch up paint many times.

also for the minor surface scratches non color

get duplicolor clear coat. spray just a tiny on and it disap. imediatly. just make sure the surface is nice and clean before you do it.

i have noticed tho touch up paint starts to go bad after about half the tube is gone.

my fit is metalic storm.

I snapped this today, about, oh, 6 mos after the touchup. It's there, but not super noticable.

If it's any consolation my rear bumper got a nice little indentation from someone's front license plate screw THE FIRST DAY I HAD IT. My wife and I stopped off at the grocery store on our way home from picking up our new fit and I parallel parked. When we came out...tah dah...nice round indentation.

Things like this make me miss the old days when cars had massive chrome bumpers and full length body molding.

Yeah there is a Fremont curse on honda fits. Mine also got a love tap on Mission/Stevenson at under 1k miles. People tailgate me all the time around here like the fit is magnetized or something.

Just use some good cleaner wax to buff out the area below the black area, then clean it and touch it up. Otherwise you are looking at ~$750 at shops in this area to get it back to new condition. Cheapest option I found was to buy a new OEM bumper cover, get a shop to paint it, and install it yourself for ~$500 ish total.

A $10 bottle of touch up is a much better option when you consider how people drive around here.

Do you work for a big corp with a security dept? I'd file a hit and run. Somebody's car who parks in the area probably has your paint all over it!

Dam that sucks bro. I feel your pain and hatred for dumb drivers lol. I was at work too and when I left to go home walked out and just checked my car out cause I love it lol and notice someone rear ended me from the front. Didn't dent or anything but left paint chips. I'll post pics later. Again sorry for your incident.
