All USDM OEM GE Springs the Same?

I thought I'd ask, but I assume there's only one set of springs for OEM Fits (GE's that is)? By that I mean not different springs for Base Manual vs Sport w/ Nav and Auto.

Many/most cars have more than one spring setup for a given model line. But then most car models have more than one available engine choice, luxury or sport choices, maybe even sedan and wagon versions. All of those variations result in different weights and thus different spring rates to provide similar handling. This affords some interesting mix and match possibilities using OEM springs (which people ditch for cheap) and also maintaining near-stock ride height.

It appears that the Fit line only varies by about 125 pounds which probably isn't enough to justify different spring codes.

i think that the base and the sport models have different springs because one of the differences/features that i read about when deciding which to get said that the sport comes with sport tuned suspension. though i dont know much about suspensions so i could very well be wrong...

The two things I know of that are different are the larger wheels/tires on the Sport, and the Sport has a rear stabilizer/sway bar.

I was just referring to the suspension differences.

Go to Honda Owner Link and search for rear springs (or whatever you want to compare). If part number for FIT base and Sport models are the same, they are the same. Otherwise, they are different.

It is installed in addition to the welded on factory one. I have the Progress RSB on my car and its well worth the money. Now if only someone would make some decent dampers.

Manufacturers often specify different springs for base versus upgrades, versus different engines, whether with A/C or not, and of course for different suspension or transmission options.
Check the springs part numbers on the models youe are considering at some place like Majestic Honda parts.
In Hondas Fits the springs for base versus Sport should not be different by P/N.But there are other considerations such as shocks and antisway bars.
