Rims and tires for my 2010 Sport BSP???? HELP!!!

I am looking to get rims for my '10 sport BSP and i am having a tough time.

I am definitely getting them 17x7 with 205/40/17 with Nankang NS-I's

What i cant decide is the style/color of the rim.

Heres what ive whittled down to.

OR

OR this one, however i dont think the blue matches so im iffy on this one

What are your thoughts??? thank you

My vote are the TSW's in white. Should look sick on a BSP. That or black wheels with a paint matched blue rim.

Yeah those TSW's are pretty nice, the only thing im worried about is the size of that lip, for the black ones two. Im kind of confused by the whole offset rules and whether or not these would cause rubbing or not.

As far as the "paint matched" black one, any ideas on where i could get those?

The lip on the xxr's is 1.75" and by the looks of it the other is about the same. so thats nothing to worry about?

lip size has no impact on fitment unless a lower offset is used to enhance the lip size

what are the offsets

Wheelsnext.com nor the manufacturer's site list offsets so im assuming standard but can you please explain how offsets work?

Higher offset basically means that the wheel is more 'sunk' within the fenders
Lower offset pushes the wheel further out

Example

Low offset (extremely low offset, just an example)

High Offset

GE's like offsets around +45

(Although +38 ftw)

not really. it all depends on wheel. +38 wont guarantee you a good offset or Flush if thats what your looking for.

+55 are stock... maybe a +45 to +48 should be great... with spacer on rear if +48... but +42 look sick with fender tuck

ok heres a better question that I should have asked before. Aside from the lip and offset, can I get away with a 17x8 or 17x9? and how about 18x7.5 or 18x8.5?

I was curious about the 18's but thought the biggest i could go is 17, if i am wrong please let me know as well as if those bigger sizes will rub?

ok i found a great deal from wheelsnext for the tsw white 17x7's and the offset is 40 with a lip of 1.5 inches. tires are 205/40/17 with Nankang NS-I's. Should i be ok with that offset, size, etc.

For the record i think a white wheel in contrast to the BSP color is gonna look sharpp
and ill prob get custom "blue H" center caps for these

mmmm mmm mmmmmmm
